Following our hair extension care recommendations can help extend the lifespan and comfort of your extensions
COMBING
When combing your hair, start from the ends and gradually work your way up. Do not comb wet hair. Use a two-step brush, the so-called boar bristle brush. Do not pull at any tangles, but gently comb them out with your fingers. Comb your hair as needed, at least twice a day. Remember to do this gently! Do not pull! Pulled hair will frizz and tangle.
SLEEP
Never go to sleep with wet or under-dried hair, as this can lead to an unmanageable knot! Before bed, comb your hair and tie it in a ponytail or a loose braid, this will prevent tangling.
WASHING
Washing your hair should be done in an upright position, e.g. in the shower. Move your hands with shampoo from top to bottom using lukewarm water. Gently massage the scalp with your fingertips. Never wash your hair in circular motions or "scrub" - this can cause tangles. Remember that shampoo alone does not provide proper nourishment for the hair - shampoo is only used to cleanse the scalp and hair of impurities.
Apply conditioner to washed hair. It must always be moisturizing products that do not contain the following ingredients. The conditioner must be precisely massaged - strand by strand - not superficially. At least once a week, use an acidifying mask - this lowers the pH and closes the hair cuticle.
Do not "scrub" them with a towel, but only wrap them in a towel for a few minutes (we recommend using turbans) until the water is absorbed. It is best to let it dry naturally.
Hair extensions require intensive moisturizing, it is recommended to use moisturizing products that do not contain proteins, fruit acids, or alcohol. Eliminate products that have them in their composition.
Only proper care allows you to extend their lifespan.
DRYING AND STYLING
Hair extensions can be dried with warm air, straightened, and curled. Remember to comb your hair before styling. When using high temperatures, be careful with the bonds. It is recommended to use heat protectants.
DYEING
Our hair can be dyed to darker colors, but any chemical treatment is performed at your own risk, improper execution can damage the hair. For dyeing, use a dye with hydrogen peroxide max 1.5%. We always recommend performing a test on a smaller amount of hair. Do not use purples, etc.
CURLY/WAVY HAIR
Before washing, comb your hair thoroughly, wash according to the instructions above. Dry your hair with a towel, comb it slightly damp. To give the hair a nicer curl, apply oil while performing a "squeezing" motion. Curly/wavy hair requires intensive moisturizing, it should be cared for like permed hair, so it is important not to overdry it - this will prevent, among other things, frizz.
OTHER NOTES:
Do not lighten your hair!
Do not heat keratin/glue bonds, nor apply any preparations to them, especially oily ones.
When swimming in the pool or sea, your hair should be tied in a braid, and after bathing, you should wash it well (salt and chlorinated water damages the hair!)
Be careful with self-tanners, bronzers, and tanning oils - some products, after contact with hair, can cause the blonde to discolor to orange/pink.
Eliminate all cosmetics containing, among others, proteins, alcohol, fruit acids, etc., as they cause damage to the hair and ends.
Do not use cosmetics that act on the scalp (including rubs), anti-dandruff, volumizing, and some micellar products. Most products for "reconstruction, regeneration" have too high a concentration of proteins, which can have a negative impact on the hair.
